NATURALIZED Filipino Anray Blatche couldn't hide his excitement for his next stint with Gilas Pilipinas.

The 6'11” naturalized import said he looks forward to finally coming back to his second home to help the Philippines in its quest for supremacy in the coming SEABA Championships next month.

Through his @drayblatche Twitter account, the 30-year-old veteran announced yesterday that he is bound to be back to reinforce Gilas Pilipinas and that he is more than eager to get the ball rolling.

"Mga kababayan! I am so excited to be back and win for my fellow Pinoys," tweeted Blatche. "Please come and see us all play at SEABA."

To further strengthen the Philippines' bid, National coach Chot Reyes and his crew tapped the services of the Gilas regular to be at the forefront of the team's attack in the May 12-18 basketball tilt.

As of this report, Reyes is still in the process of finalizing the 11 players that will join Blatche in the team's official line-up for the tournament.

Anytime now, Reyes is set to announce and name those players.

According to reports, nine cagers in the pool are almost certain to be included in the line-up.

They are National team veterans Juine Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Calvin Abueva, Raymund Almazan, Allein Maliksi, Terrence Romeo, Jayson Castro and Troy Rosario.

Should all of those players be named officially to the team, the last two slots will be interesting.

Among the Gilas cadets, the frontrunners to make the team are Matthew Wright, Kevin Ferrer, Roger Pogoy and Ed Daquioag.
