THE Bull Squad squared off against seven other fellow finalists and emerged champion of the Red Bull Reign Finals at the Nagtahan Bridge Court, Pasig River, in Manila.

The team also got the chance to represent the Philippines at the Red Bull Reign World Finals, the brand’s signature 3x3 basketball tournament that pits hopefuls against one another in a high-endurance, offensive-driven battle.

GILAS Pilipinas dominated anew in its third game in the ongoing 2017 Southeast Asian Basketball Men’s Championship, beating Malaysia, 106-51, in the nightcap on Day 3 yesterday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Much like in their first two games in the regional basketball tournament, the Gilas players used a strong start to the game and never looked back.

ENES Kanter of the Oklahoma City Thunder gave his simple piece of advice to all Filipino basketball players who are continuously chasing their dreams.

“First, they should have a big dream. Second, they have to work for it. You have to give yourself 100%. There’s gonna be people out there and they’re not gonna believe, so you just prove them wrong by working really hard. Education is number one. Never leave school, stay in school and do your work,” the big man said during his Thursday visit at the Fountain International School in San Juan.
