QUEZON CITY—La Salle inflicted Far Eastern U its fourth straight loss with a grinded-out 65-57 win to cap off UAAP Season 81 basketball action Saturday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum. 
 
Taking advantage of the absence of FEU slotman Prince Orizu, the Archers banked on the triple-tower gang of Justine Baltazar, Santi Santillan, and Brandon Bates to pull off the win and continue to itsstronghold to third place with a 6-4 record.

THE Lyceum Pirates will make their National Collegiate Athletic Association finals return after beating the Letran Knights, 109-85, in their seminal match on Friday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.

Held a twice-to-beat advantage in their semis pairing, the Pirates made sure not to use it by rising to the challenge when needed and pulled away to book their place in the finals of Season 94.

PASAY—Adamson bounced back in style, reverting to its old sharp form in dismantling National U, 69-58, in the second game of Wednesday action of the UAAP Season 81 men’s seniors’ basketball tournament at the Mall Of Asia Arena.

The Falcons got into a shooting spree in the first half while warding off a fourth-quarter challenge by the Bulldogs to preserve the win, its sixth in eight matches, for a slice of top spot with defending champs Ateneo Blue Eagles.
