Coaches, Olympic qualifiers, at aspirante ang prayoridad sa pambansang tropa

Kinumpirma ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Martes na matapos ang pagpupulong kasama ng Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) at Armed Forces of The Philippines (AFP) napagkasunduan na  i-renew ang tripartite agreement na gumagarantiya sa detalyadong serbisyo  (DS) para sa pambansang  mga atleta. 
 
Gayunman,  habang na sa posisyon ng krisis,  ang national coaches, Olympic qualifiers at front-runners para sa Olympic berth sa kani-kanilang respektibong  sports ang hahatagan ng ibayong iprayoridad sa ngayon. 
 
“We are working with the POC in drawing up the list,” salo ni PSC Acting Executive Director Atty. Guillermo Iroy Jr.
 
 
Target ng  PSC ang  renewal ng kasunduan matapos  mapaso nung Mayo ngayong taon. 
 
Sa kanyang liham sa  AFP, may 78 national athletes at 52 coaches buhat sa 19 sports ang pinakiusapang idetalye sa PSC.
 
 
Pinag-usapan nina Chief of the AFP Special Service Unit, Col. Rocky Binag, POC Secretary General Atty. Ed Gastanes at PSC’s Iroy at NSA Affairs Head Annie Ruiz ang mga detalye sa kasunduan at umaasang matuldukan sa kalagitnaan ng buwan ng Agosto. 
 
Sina three-time Olympian weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz at 2021 Tokyo Olympic-bound boxer Eumir Felix Marcial, na kapwa  enlisted sa Philippine Air Force (PAF), ay nakatanggap ng go signal mula AFP para ipagpatuloy ang  training. 
 
“Ang request kasi ni Eumir at Hidilyn, hanggang 2021 na. Kasama sila sa kino-consider ng AFP na bigyan. The rest, back to mother unit sila,” ani Ruiz, patungkol sa mga sundalong atleta ng national team na pawang tinawag sa active duty sa kani kanilang respektibong  units sa panahon ng pandemya.
 
 
Labing siyam  (19) sports, tulad ng swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, wrestling, boxing, baseball, rowing, sailing, sepak takraw, softball, soft tennis, weightlifting, cycling, obstacle sports, muaythai, judo at PHILSPADA athletes mula athletics, badminton, table tennis at cycling ay ang mga inaasahang kabilang sa  DS order.
