“Let’s just say that there’s a possibility that the President will take steps for the bill to become a law, either by signing it or letting it lapse into a law,” ani Roque sa panayam ng ABS-CBN News Channel’s Headstart.

Siya, gayunman na ang Office of the Executive Secretary, partikular na ng Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs, ay patuloy na ipinapinalisa ang kanilang mga opinyon para sa pagsusumite kay PDigong.

Naipadala na rin ng Office of the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel at Department of Justice ang kanilang mga feedback.

“He (the President) did not mention that it is already (on) his desk. He would have mentioned it yesterday (Tuesday),” Roque said, pointing out that Duterte’s schedule for Tuesday was “jam-packed.”(LP/PNA)
