Nananatili ang Alert Level 1 sa Taal Volcano sa Batangas, ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.

“(The) Department of Science and Technology-PHIVOLCS reminds the public that at Alert Level 1

, sudden steam-driven or phreatic explosions, volcanic earthquakes, minor ash fall and lethal accumulations or expulsion of volcanic gas can occur and threaten areas within the Taal Volcano island,” anang Philvolcs.

 

Tinatayang 23 lindol ang nangyari sa mga bayan ng  Bauan, Mabini, Lemery, Agoncillo at San Nicolas sa Batangas noong April 22.

 

Sumabog ang Taal Volcano tatlong buwan na ang nakalipas, kung saan apektado ang 300,000 pamilya sa  Batangas, Cavite at mga kalapit probinsya. 

 

Sinabi ni PHIVOLCS chief Renato Solidum na ang mga lindol ay naramdaman ang pag-uga sa Mabini fault na ginatilyo ng kalapit na  Taal caldera.
