    BEACH handball and wrestling, two sports expected to deliver in the coming 30th Southeast Asian Games, will be the main topics in the 27th "Usapang Sports" of the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) on Thursday, June 20 at the National Press Club in Intramuros.

    Philippine Handball Federation secretary-general Dr. Ernesto Jay Adalem and Wrestling Association of the Philippines president Alvin Aguilar will talk about the country's chances in the SEA Games scheduled Nov. 30-Dec. 11 in Manila.

    Both handball and wrestling are priority sports under the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) because they are being played in the Asian Games and Olympics.

    Also guesting in the weekly sports forum supported by the PSC, National Press Club, PAGCOR, Community Basketball Association and HG Guyabano Tea Leaf Drinks are the officials of the Omni Football Cup: Fight to the Finish and Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) team Basilan Steel.

    Omni Football Cup organizers Henry Yang, Albert Alde, Kevin James Olayvar and marketing head Miko Diga and Basilan coach Jerson Cabiltes and team manager Jackson Chua will grace the forum.

    TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members of TOPS, as well as friends in the sports community to attend the session.

    TOPS is composed of editors, reporters, columnists and photographers of the country’s leading national tabloids.
