Proper nutrition is essential for the healthy growth of children. However, not all families can afford nutritious meals. This is a concern that Quezon City 4th District Councilor Hero Bautista aims to address with his feeding programs that are deployed regularly in Quezon City.

The latest feeding program saw an estimated 300-350 children being served hot arroz caldo in Brgy. San Vicente this Oct. 13. Other people were also given servings, with the total number of people given a bowl reaching 1,500. Officials who attended the feeding program included barangay captain Willy Real, barangay councilors Julius Maddela and Mico Agoncillo, and barangay councilor Aurora Nocom who celebrated her birthday by helping in the feeding program.
