    PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS LEAGUE PARTNERS WITH BRAZIL’S NUMBER ONE MEDIA COMPANY GLOBO

    The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, today announced it has partnered with Globo, Brazil’s leading media company, as its exclusive content provider in the country for the upcoming 2021 season.


    The company will carry each of the league’s live events and viewers in Brazil will be able to watch MMA in a true season format for the first time through Combate platforms (pay tv channel, website, app and social networks) – the most important brand in combat sports domestically. In addition, the PFL will have extensive journalistic coverage on the main sports news, programs and sports portal in Brazil.

    “I am pleased to announce Brazil’s number one media company, Globo, will be the home of the PFL’s 2021 Regular Season, Playoffs and Championship events starting April 23rd,” said PFL CEO, Peter Murray. “MMA fans in Brazil can watch the PFL’s season long action and witness the journeys of the best fighters on the planet including Brazil’s GOAT heavyweight, Fabricio Werdum, and returning PFL 2X lightweight Champion, Natan Schulte.

    The 2021 PFL's season will begin on April 23 on the channels ESPN 2, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ in prime time in the United States. The other regular season events will take place on April 29, May 6, June 10, June 17 and June 25.
