The award was given during the halftime of the Katropa-Hotshots quarterfinals game at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in the presence of commissioner Willie Marcial and Magnolia team manager Alvin Patrimonio, himself considered one of the league's so-called 'Iron Man.'
Barroca currently ranks second behind all-time owner LA Tenorio of Barangay Ginebra as the player who suited up in 300 consecutive games or more. Phoenix guard RK Jazul is at third place.

Unfortunately, Barroca and the rest of the Hotshots lost to the Katropa, 96-97, and failed to defend its Governors Cup title.Source . PBA.PH
