MANILA – If there is one thing that endeared Aly Borromeo to Sharon Cuneta, that would definitely be the effort he has exerted to also become close to KC Concepcion’s siblings.
Apparently, Borromeo continues to do this even if he and Concepcion are already a couple.
Based on his latest Instagram update, Borromeo spent time with Concepcion and her siblings Miel and Miguel last Sunday.
Sharing their group photo, the former Azkals captain wrote in the caption: “Fun filled day with this bunch from some Footy to pigging out! Missing you @frankiepangilinan”
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Cuneta admitted that she likes the football player for her eldest daughter.
“Anybody that’s nice to my daughter and makes my daughter a better person and brings her closer to the family, I will like. Aly is like that,” she said.
Cuneta said she also likes that Borromeo gets along well with Concepcion’s siblings, especially Miguel.
“His best friend is Miguel because Miguel is into soccer and he is very mayabang because Aly is the captain tapos tinuturuan siya,” he said.
While the two have yet to go on record about their relationship, Concepcion’s half-sister Cloie confirmed in a TV interview earlier this month that the two are already a couple.
In an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on last week, beauty queen Cloie Syquia-Skarne confirmed the relationship of her half-sister with the football player.
"Yes, they're together," Cloie said during the late night talk show's "Fast Talk" segment.
The two have been rumored to be an item since KC was spotted watching one of Aly's football matches. KC later introduced Aly to her family, and called him in one of her interviews as "one of the few good guys left." She was also spotted with Aly during a trip to Hong Kong.
Prior to Aly, KC was previously linked with actor Paulo Avelino and former boyfriend, Kapamilya star Piolo Pascual. She was also rumored to have stopped dating Aly, but later quashed speculations by sharing photos of her and Aly bonding with her mother, Sharon Cuneta.
Although the Concepcion and Borromeo haven’t publicly admitted their relationship yet, Cuneta admitted that she likes the football player for her eldest daughter. “Anybody that’s nice to my daughter and makes my daughter a better person and brings her closer to the family, I will like. Aly is like that,” she said.
