Manila – Television host and actress Kris Aquino is inviting presidential son Paolo Duterte out for a coffee.

Recently, on her social media account, ‘Queen of All Media’ Kris Aquino posted a lengthy message for presidential son Paolo Duterte. Her post entails her response to the former Davao City mayor who recently mentioned her in his social media post.

Based on Paolo’s recent post on Facebook account, he posted along a caption that reads that EDSA commemoration is an image of a promised that did not come true.

“Sorry Krissy ha, ‘wag magdrama, laro na lang ng PS4,” the former Davao City Vice Mayor wrote.

Through her Instagram post, Kris Aquino responded to the presidential son that she does not know how to play PS4. She stated that in this instance she is the daughter of her father “who believed that everything could be worked out face-to-face”.

The actress-TV host is referring to the late Benigno ‘Ninoy’ Aquino Jr. Her mother is the late former President Corazon ‘Cory’ Aquino whose legacy she recently defended based on a report.

Tagging both his Instagram and Facebook accounts, Kris addresses Paolo saying, “you mentioned me in your post by name and I feel it’s only proper to reply.” Kris mentions how Paolo called her “Krissy” and apologizes for not being a gamer, before extending the invite.

“May I invite you to have coffee or we can have a San Mig if that is your preference…you have my word hindi ako mag da-drama pag nagkaharap na tayo,” a portion of her invite read.

“I have no agenda other than the desire for you to personally get to know me and vice versa…too much bad blood has already been manufactured between our families… we have the chance to hear each other out,” Kris continued.

The Queen of All Media then addressed the public: "Para sa mga nagtataka kung bakit ko ‘to ginagawa – because I’d rather have tried and reached out and possibly be rejected than regret not making a move when I saw an opportunity to open communication lines.”

And then she returns to the vice mayor of Davao: “Kung tanggihan mo ko, Paolo – I shall respect that…I shall await your decision and pray that my effort won’t be snubbed.”

Her post — a slideshow of her mother's Time magazine covers, a few quotes, her photos and Paolo's photos with Jose Mari Chan's "Can we Just Stop and Talk Awhile" as music — is a reaction to Paolo Duterte’s February 20 post where he said “sorry Krissy ha, wag magdrama..laro nalang PS4”.
