Actress and television host Anne Curtis is no stranger when it comes to being a health buff. In fact, she is gearing up for a new physical challenge and will be joining this year's London Marathon.
The “It’s Showtime” mainstay posted a selfie on Sunday, where she said, "Warning: ANNOYING SELFIE. - First 25km in over a year! 6:00 pace ? Kept it steady and kept telling myself - just don't walk ? Yey! Getting my milage in for the @londonmarathon ??♀️ Thanks, Ninong @kuyakim_atienza ? Good Morning!!! #LondonMarathon #LondonMarathANNEventure," she wrote on Twitter.
But her exercise was for another reason — she has set her eyes on joining the London Marathon. “Getting my mileage in for @londonmarathon,” she added in her post.
To boost her morale, the official London Marathon Twitter page replied: “Great work Anne – keep up the good work!”
Curtis has previously trained for other marathons. In 2016, Anne Curtis joined the New York Marathon with Kim Atienza.
Last year, they were also among the thousands of participants at the annual Boston Marathon. She cancelled due to conflicting schedules with her noontime show. She said she was “no longer able to run the marathon of her dreams.”
This year’s London Marathon is slated for April 22.
