MANILA – Now United is coming – and they’re doing it like no other pop group you’ve seen or heard before.
Global pop group Now United has released a teaser video of its first performance which includes former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Bailey May.

It was only last month when May announced that he is now part of Now United.
The group was formed by Simon Fuller, the genius behind the reality TV phenomenon “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance”, auditioned artists between the ages of 14 and 19 to join the revolutionary project.
There are a few names you may recognize in the final group, since many of the stars have already risen to fame in their respective countries. Bailey May from Philippines, Noah Urrea from United States, Sofya Plotnikova from Russia, Krystian Wang from China, Josh Beauchamp from Canada, Lamar from UK, Sabina Hidalgo from Mexico, Sina Deinert from Germany, Shivani Paliwal from India, Heyoon Jeong from South Korea, Any Gabrielly from Brazil, Hina Yoshihara from Japan, Diarra from Senegal, Joalin from Finland.

May is the only Filipino member of Now United. May first rose to fame when he joined "Pinoy Big Brother 737." He has since appeared in shows like "On the Wings of Love," and has released an album under Star Music. He's come a long way since doing Tagalog song covers online.

Now, May has "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller gushing about how he's a well-rounded performer worthy of a spot in the pop group he's grooming for a global audience.
"He stood out because he's got everything that you could ever dream of in a star," said Yonta Taiwo, who was one of those in charge of scouting members for Now United.

She added of May: "He has an amazing kind heart, beautiful looks, and charismatic values. He can sing and dance and the "perfect ambassador" for the country, and him being half-British adds to his "global presence" that "speaks to a broader audience."
When we saw him, Simon just knew that he was the one."

May is newest member of Now United to be unveiled on Thursday, confirming rumors that he passed the audition in Los Angeles back in August. "After the announcement, I felt extremely happy because I'll be able to represent my home country and I'll be able to put the Philippines in the spotlight," said May of his latest achievement.
And that’s not all, they’re working with some serious industry heavyweights, including “Just Dance” producer RedOne, who will be penning their first record.
They’ll also be dancing their way to the top alongside Kyle Hanagami and WilldaBeast – top choreographers to the stars.
Check out their new song “Summer In The City”.
