Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia has been posting song covers on Instagram, including OPM favorite “Hanggang Kailan Kita Mahihintay” by Paolo Valenciano, “Roses” by the Chainsmokers, “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse, and “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”

With her trending rendition of popular songs on the social media app, fans are asking if she has any plans to record her own album since it’s obvious that she has a talent in singing apart from being able to play the guitar. She even sang Encantadia’s theme song entitled “Mahihintay Sa’yo.”

In previous interviews, Gabbi said that it’s actually her dream to be a singer and record her own music one day. 

Now, Gabbi is finally turning a dream into reality and she’s got her fans excited with this latest development in her career.

On Instagram, Gabbi shared teaser photos of her first single where she’s seen sitting in a diner, sipping on a milkshake, with the over-all look giving out a vintage vibe. In the caption she wrote, “first single.”

The single will have its official launch on Oct. 23.
