MANILA - Selena Gomez is in the Philippines.  Selena showed her sexy side during her Revival Concert in Manila at the Mall of Asia Arena last night, Sunday, July 31, 2016.

The American pop superstar thrilled fans by performing a mix of new hits and songs that brought nostalgia to the fans.

One of her most applauded numbers was when she performed 'Love You Like a Love Song,' which she introduced by saying, 'Since I haven't been here before, let me do a throwback.

Some celebrities who were spotted last night were Maine Mendoza and rumored couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil who arrived separately at the MOA Arena. Vice Ganda was also spotted wearing a blue denim jacket when he arrived at the venue and allowed several to take photos with him.

Selena was supposed to hold a Philippine concert way back in 2013 but unfortunately, her Stars Dance Tour was cancelled back then.

Selena felt the thrilla in Manila as she performed at the Mall of Asia Arena last Sunday. The pop star described the Filipino crowd as the ‘loudest’. “I think this has gotta be the loudest crowd I’ve ever been in,” Selena said at the beginning of the show.

The crowd reciprocated the singer’s energetic performance, giving the loudest cheers and applause, and singing at the top of their voices to her every song.

The 24-year-old singer sang 18 songs, including her hits from the Revival album like Hands to Myself, Good For You, Same Old Love.

She also sang her latest single, Kill ‘Em With Kindness, which described as the song that means the most to her. “This next song means the most to me. This has been my way of life and I always feel like the world could use a little bit more kindness,” Selena said before singing the hit.

The songstress also treated her fans with a series of throwback songs like Come and Get It, Love You Like A Love Song and Slow Down, and covers of Hillsong’s Transfiguration and Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).

One of the highlights of the show was when Filipino Selenators (fans of Selena) lighted up the arena and raised “SALAMAT SELENA” signs while the singer was performing a stripped down version of Who Says.

“I’d like to sing for you a recording from I was 16 and now being 24 I feel like I need this song more now than I did back then and it would mean a lot to me if you’d sing along with us,” she said.

Selena also gave her Filipino fans a sneak peek of what her next album is going to sound like as she sang a new song called Feel Me.

Before leaving the stage, Selena expressed her love for her Filipino supporters and gave them a sweet promise.

“Please don’t get mad at me if i say this wrong but it’s ‘Mahal Kita’ right? I just want to say i love you guys so much and I guarantee you that we will be back okay?,” Selena said, as the concert-goers roared.

Fans of Selena Gomez couldn’t keep their excitement to themselves. Whether they’re #TeamConcert or #TeamLabas, Selenators still flocked to the venue to get a glimpse of the popstar.

Even local celebrities and the President’s daughter couldn’t keep their excitement. Kapamilya stars Darren Espanto (who opened the show), Vice Ganda, Kathryn Bernardo, Alex Gonzaga, Angel Locsin, Julia Barretto, Christian Bautista, Prince of R&B Jay-R, Dominique Cojuangco, Miles Ocampo, Maxine Magallona, Louise delos Reyes, Janine Gutierrez, and teen stars Alexa Ilacad, Nash Aguas, Andrea Brillantes were all spotted watching the show.

Also present at the concert were Presidential daughter, Kitty Duterte, and actress Liza Soberano, who both luckily got a chance to meet Selena Gomez backstage.

Celeb couples Diego Loyzaga and Sofia Andres, as well as Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez who were joined by Bella Padilla, were also in attendance. While Kapuso stars Heart Evangelista and Lovi Poe went together to watch the show.
