Heart Evangelista is proving art does not only belong in galleries.
Known for being a fashion plate, Evangelista, the wife of Senator Francis Escudero, is an actress and painter who has had a series of sold-out art exhibits. She has come out with a line of bags which she hand paints and partnered with designer Mark Bumgarner for a line of hand-painted dresses and gowns. And now the 33-year-old is getting a lot of notice for her new home’s amazing design. She displays a good eye when it comes to arranging her interiors down to her tablescapes, as evidenced in several beautifully curated photos on social media.
She has her table all abloom for a special gathering. She also has one specially arranged for the birthday of Alexander Lee, her “My Korean Jagiya” co-star. Guests, including David Kim and other Korean actors, appreciated Heart’s hospitality.
Speaking of “Jagiya,” Heart enjoys starring in the rom-com and immersing in everything Korean. The 33-year-old admitted she had a chance to become a fangirl while shooting several scenes in South Korea.
But she has not turned her back completely on painting. She has managed to take up the brush in between taping.
“In between taping, did this on-the-spot painting for a short film. Can’t wait to share it with you!” she said.
Recently, she was into haute couture and was all over the City of Lights for the Paris Fashion Week. She looked every inch the stylish belle – from hair to heels.
