Chris Hemsworth Shares How Anyone Can Get in Shape Regardless of Money

Chris Hemsworth reveals that even he gets bored with working out.

"My workouts are also about being diverse and mixing things up. It’s easy to get bored," the Thor star tells Men's Health, offering up tips and tricks to keeping exercise routines interesting. "If I’m doing arm day, I’ll work in box jumps in between sets. By working in more cardio, you keep shocking your body and you prevent having problems in certain area."

While Hemsworth -- who has one of the fittest bodies in Hollywood -- does admit to having a personal trainer who helps him "come up with all sorts of varied movements and routines that keep me from getting bored," he insists that staying in shape has nothing to do with the size of your paycheck.

"No amount of money makes someone else do the work for you. If you can’t afford a trainer, that’s totally fine. Use friends; use anyone," he laments. "Do a workout in your living room. It’s really easy to jump online to find nutritional plans and workout routines and more. Ultimately, being fit is about motivation and action creates motivation.”

If acting doesn't pan out, Hemsworth would make an excellent motivational speaker! “Don’t wait around for someone else to come push you,” he continues. “Push yourself.”

The 33-year-old actor might believe having a fit physique is attainable for everyone, but he's not so keen on showing off the results like his brother, Liam Hemsworth, did when he modeled a pair of short shorts on Instagram.

"You know what that felt like? That felt like a late Friday night, drunken kinda post," Hemsworth told ET of his younger brother's shirtless photo. "And then the following morning he's like, 'I didn't. Did I? Oh no.'"

He further quipped, "Was that intentional?"
