Lindsay Lohan is apparently "back and better than ever."
The Mean Girls star is returning to the spotlight with her brand new show, The Anti-Social Network -- but she won't be acting. Instead, Lohan will be taking control of contestants' social media accounts and pranking them a la Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd, challenging them to do embarrassing acts for prizes.
"I love social media. I mean, I am social media. Everybody knows you should never leave your phone lying around, especially near me," the 30-year-old actress teases in a new promo, released on Tuesday.
"We'll go to someone and I hijack their social media for 24 hours," Lohan explained of her new project on a recent appearance on The View. "I dare them to do things that they think they're good at. Then they win money and the proceeds go to charity."
Lohan is no stranger to prank shows, having been targeted by Kutcher in a 2003 episode of Punk'd, but hasn't fronted a mainstream movie since Lifetime's 2012 Elizabeth Taylor biopic, Liz & Dick.
In 2014, Lohan let her life play out for the cameras in OWN's docuseries, Lindsay, and has since wrapped production on a small horror movie called The Shadow Within.
The Freaky Friday star has recently stayed out of the spotlight while living abroad, meeting with Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to discuss the refugee crisis in Syria in January, but has teased a reurn to Hollywood.
Last month, Lohan took to Instagram to reveal her desire to play Ariel in a Little Mermaid reboot, and told The View that she's trying to write a sequel to Mean Girls.
