More people benefit from PCSO’s Medicine Donation Program

As part of its 84-year le­gacy, the Philippine Cha­rity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donates basic medicines to qualified public and private institutions engaged in health care projects, programs and services compliant to President Rodrigo Duterte’s call for Universal Health Care.

As part of its 84-year le­gacy, the Philippine Cha­rity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donates basic medicines to qualified public and private institutions engaged in health care projects, programs and services compliant to President Rodrigo Duterte’s call for Universal Health Care.

On December 27, PCSO donated medicines amounting to a total of P39,977.92 led by Marcelo H. Del Pilar High School Class 1968 for the benefit of the attendees durings its golden jubilee (50th year) celebration’s medical and dental mission on January 5.

Also receiving their share of medicines were Barangay Pinugay Phase I in Rizal and the Manila High School Alumni Batch 1977, which held consultation at their campus for the less fortunate members of their batch with the vision of promoting fellowship and creating social networking activities among them.

Earlier on December 11, Kiwanis Club of General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) in Cavite and the Centro Escolar University (CEU) Community Outreach Department were given P10,000 worth of medicines each for their own community service programs.

Josephine Sancho, “Lab Kita Bata Project” chairman and Kiwanis Club-GMA vice president, received the goods for the organization. On the other hand, Rovi Obal received the medicines for CEU in behalf of Community Outreach Department head Lolita Pablo, RSW.
