GAME OF THRONES season eight will hit television screens later this year and fans are very excited to find out who will land on the Iron Throne. While many expect it to be Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen, it seems viewers could be in for a shock.
Game of Thrones fans are certain the Mother of Dragons or King in the North will take charge of Westeros.

However, BetVictor have revealed the odds are actually in Bran Stark’s (played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) favour.

The young Stark boy is has an implied probability of 50 per cent to take the Iron Throne, which is odds of 1/1.

He is more favourable to rule Westeros than Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who has odds of 4/1.

Closely following behind in Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), with odds of 4/1.

The Mother of Dragons has had her eye on the coveted throne since the very first series and begged her late husband Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) to help her conquer Westeros.

Following his death, she built up an army of Dothraki and Unsullied to help her take the throne.

Season seven saw her join forces with Jon - but could they lose out on victory to Bran?

It doesn’t seem like the most likely scenario but Game of Thrones is known for shocking viewers with its unexpected twists.

Meanwhile, despite his current invasion of Westeros, it looks very unlikely the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) will take the throne.

The odds of him ruling Westeros are slated at just nine per cent.

And, she may be sitting on the Iron Throne now but Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) looks set to lose control.

Her odds of holding onto the throne have dropped to eight per cent.

Those least likely to rule Westeros according to BetVictor are Gilly (Hannah Murray), Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) and Melisandre (Carice Van Outen).

It comes after one fan revealed they are certain Bran is in fact the Night King.
