After months of preparation, a new set of beauty queens were crowned at last night's Binibining Pilipinas pageant. Half -breed Filipino Australian Catriona Gray crowned Miss Universe Philippines captured the hearts of Filipinos as she was not only crowned as the winning queen of the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant but also won five other special awards.
Gray was entitled Best in Swimsuit, Best in Long Gown, Pitoy Moreno Best in National Costume, Jag Denim Queen, and Miss Ever Bilena.
Other winning beauty queens were Bb. Pilipinas-International Ma. Ahtisa Manalo, Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational Jehza Huelar, Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental Karen Gallman, Bb. Pilipinas-Grand International Eva Patalinjug, and Bb. Pilipinas-Globe Michele Gumabao.
Through the Q&A portion, the six queens proved that they are more than just “brains and beauty” but with a “heart” that can influence the world.
