Manila - A pair of police officers sent hearts aflutter in Saturday's episode of "Pilipinas Got Talent."
Robert Abella Jr. and Jackylou de Dios Palacio, both members of the Philippine National Police, had the judges swooning over their cover of "Forever."
"Kung narinig lang siguro ng mga terorista kung gaano kaganda iyong boses ninyo ay baka walang gulo sa Pilipinas ngayon," Angel Locsin said of their audition.
Robin Padilla added: "Gustong-gusto kong makita iyong pulis na ganyan, kaysa iyong nasa battle field."
This is the first time Abella and Palacio performed together in person. They shared that they met online when they decided to do a cover of the tune, first popularized by Martin Nievera and Regine Velasquez.
Vice Ganda acknowledged that he was a little underwhelmed, describing it an "ordinary" performance made only impressive because they were wearing their uniforms.
But despite Vice Ganda giving them the thumbs down, the two still managed to pass the round after getting yeses from Locsin, Padilla and Freddie M. Garcia.
