Manila - The pageant season is definitely on!
It wasn't not just about beauty and brains on Saturday, February 10, as the ladies of Binibining Pilipinas 2018 showcased their different skills and talents at Farmers Plaza Cubao Activity Center.
Fifteen of the 40 ladies got the chance to entertain the audience with dancing, singing, while others showed less conventional performances like dog tricks.
Among the contestants familiar faces like, reality show star Vickie Marie Rushton played "Fallen" on the keyboard, Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray showcased her vocal prowess singing Adele’s power ballad “Set Fire to the Rain” which got her fans cheering.
Shane Tormes channeled her inner diva singing the song "Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin, Ena Velasco showed off her dancing skills to the tune of Sarah Geronimo's "Tala," and Samantha Bernardo performed a traditional folk dance and later showed off her gymnastics skills.
Meanwhile, former collegiate athlete Michele Gumabao plays the flute as she tries to make one of her dogs sing to amuse the audience.
The event was hosted by beauty queens Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Supranational Chanel Olive Thomas, and Bb. Grand International 2017 and Miss Grand International 2017 2nd runner-up Elizabeth Clenci.
The winner of the talent show will be announced on pageant night.
The Binibining Pilipinas Grand Coronation Night will be on March 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
