Rotary reaches out

Rotary Club 3780 of Sta. Mesa Quezon City, under the leadership of its current president Robert Nazal and President-elect for 2017-2018 Paulo Legaspi, supported the “Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay” bloodletting activity on September 11 at Sagad High School in Pasig City.

150 volunteers from RACER Riders Quezon City and Pasig R150 Riders donated blood in coordination with Adventist Medical Center Manila.

“It doesn’t cost us anything, just a little sacrifice. It’s actually healthy to donate blood regularly. And Rotarians have heeded the call,” said Nazal, who is the president of YSA Skin Care Corporation.

The Club also supported the program “Feed My Starving Children” at Ronas Garden, Brgy. Loyola Heights, Quezon City on August 31, headed by Nazal and former Congressman Mat Defensor.

Nazal’s vision for the club is for its members to set the example of the Rotary way of service and how to enjoy life in an ambience of peace and love. The centerpiece of his leadership is servant leadership and it shows in the advocacies he supports.
