WYETH Nutrition concludes its third nationwide search for the nation’s most inquisitive, creative, and curious “Kid Innovators” with the awarding of the top finalists during the Search for Wyeth Nutrition Kid Innovators Season 3 Grand Finals at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay City.

Launched in 2015, the Search is part of Wyeth Nutrition’s efforts to help nurture every child’s potential for greatness and help mold them into society’s future nation builders. This year’s Search was launched with the new “Upcoming Kid Innovators” category, which was added to make the Search more inclusive. This allows younger children ages 5 to 8 years old to submit their science project or activity in pupil-parent tandems. Kids ages 9 to 14 joined the “Kid Innovators” category, as individuals or in teams with a maximum of 3 members and supervision of a coach or teacher-adviser. All finalists submitted entries for this year’s theme on Nutrition, Health and Wellness.

From impressive entries from different schools nationwide, five outstanding teams from the Kid Innovators category and three exceptional teams from the Upcoming Kid Innovators category were chosen to present their innovative projects in the Grand Finals.“Wyeth Nutrition launched this program as a platform for science-loving and awe-inspiring kids to showcase their enormous potential in making a difference through science and innovation.”Wyeth Nutrition President and General Manager Eugene David remarked. “We believe that with the support of parents and other stakeholders, these kid innovators will become future scientists, doctors, and leaders who are nation builders.“If even one of these kids would get to the level of achievement close to getting man on the moon or even leading a breakthrough solution to a long-standing societal problem, then we at Wyeth Nutrition would be happy and proud to have been part of the little spark that started it all.”
