St. Luke’s Foundation sends new scholars to medical school

THE St. Luke’s Medical Center Foundation has once again opened the doors for bright young minds to fulfill their dreamsof becoming doctors. It has awarded full medical scholarship to a fresh batch of students at the St. Luke’s College of Medicine-William H. Quasha Memorial in Quezon City.

THE St. Luke’s Medical Center Foundation has once again opened the doors for bright young minds to fulfill their dreamsof becoming doctors. It has awarded full medical scholarship to a fresh batch of students at the St. Luke’s College of Medicine-William H. Quasha Memorial in Quezon City.

Four scholars were successfully screened and admitted as full scholars for the entire four year course of medicine proper at the St. Luke’s College of Medicine beginning this School Year 2017-2018. They are Claisyl B. Casiwan, a BS Nursing graduate of St. Louis University in Baguio City, Gebrelle S. Castillo, a BS Biology graduate of the University of the Philippines in Baguio City, Monique A. Praico, a BS Biology graduate of Ateneo de Zamboanga and Randy Franz G. Selim, a BS Pharmacy graduate of San Pedro College de Davao. 

The scholarship provides the students 100% funding for the tuition, laboratory and miscellaneous fees, books and monthly stipend for the full four years of medical education. They will be honing their knowledge and skills in the medical school known to be an innovative educational institution with a unique system of academic and scholarship programs that produces graduates who have become exceptional clinicians, academicians, and leaders and innovators of the medical profession.
