Paint the town green

Korean businessman Ralph Kim came to the Philippines for a mission – to paint the country green. And he plans to do this using solar energy.

In 2015, Kim came to the Philippines and saw the country’s energy problems. He has been around Asia but felt particularly drawn to the Philippines because he says the people are more friendly. He set his heart in the Philippines and went back and forth before establishing his mission here, which is to use solar power for electricity.

He established the Unique Korean Corporation, a company that supplies solar energy to residential, commercial, and industrial clients from the Sky Taeho main factory in Korea.

The products are especially for residential use, farms, resorts, and small businesses. For residential use, you only need to install 5kw solar power and you will be surprised at your electric bill.

What sets Kim’s Eco-Generator apart is that it uses just one machine – a whole package of solar technology in a single machine that does not take up a big space, very easy to install, and can be used 24/7.  Machine prices range from P36,000 to P250,000 and return of investment is as little as three years.

“It gives you power supply anywhere and anytime. No more brownouts. No more power problems,” assures Kim.

Kim is just testing the waters, and plans to bring more useful technology from Korea to help the Philippines become more developed while taking care of the environment. “Nothing is impossible; just try.”
