Filipino music icons Bamboo and Sheryn Regis took over Vancouver in separate performances.

Hundreds of fans packed VENUE 881 in Granville Street, downtown Vancouver, to watch the concert of the Prince of Philippine Rock, Bamboo.

The last time Bamboo was in Vancouver was in November 2017 at the Massey Theatre.

“His fans heavily demanded to bring him back, so we did (Mabigat yung demand ng fans niya, kaya binalik namin ulit siya), said Producer Marlon Parel.

Businessman and ETOnline Managing Director Tom Choy, a big fan of the Pinoy Rock artist, was thrilled that Bamboo sang more songs than expected.

“It was an honor to perform for my kababayan in different places in Canada. Watch out for me, world!” said Bamboo.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Voice of Asia, Sheryn Regis gave a sold-out performance in “An Unparalleled Night of Music” at Aria Banquet and Convention Centre, Surrey

The show also featured Abigail Henick and Shanika Ortega, with special guest performer Mr. Raffy “Swap One” Ramiro.

“I fell in love with Vancouver! It’s such a good feeling to be with my fellow Filipinos (Na-in love ako sa Vancouver! Sarap ng feeling makasama ang mga kababayan natin),” said Sheryn. #
