The first successful Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation fundraiser concert happened four years ago at SD Galleria it was organized and a joint effort of the Vancouver based foundation ambassador Angel together with her bandmates at Ironic Pitch composed of Super Von and Christian Warren Brocales, with their guests of local Filipino bands. The beneficiary of the fundraiser concert was the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation.

Fast forward 4 years later, on April 29, 2017, as the birthday month of Angel the vocalist of the band Ironic Pitch, the group decided to do a mini reunion and fundraiser concert at the same venue and with same group of people and band as their guests to perform at the event. The proceeds of this year event will go to the same non government organizations Yellow Boat of Hope Foundations and added beneficiary for this year was the Bag of Dreams Project - providing backpacks for the students. 

"I believe that education is the key to escape from poverty and want to help them to reach that goal for a better life", a testimonials from one of  the Yellow Boat of Hope ambassadors. 

Yellow Boat of Hope is a non-government organization based in the Philippines that helps children who used to swim to school in the mangrove village of Layag-Layag Zamboanga City. The idea behind is to help the students get to school safe and dry. With the foundations providing the yellow boats bringing schools closer to them, these kids are that much closer to achieving their dreams and hopes. 

Angel is one of the ambassadors of the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation who are based in Vancouver Canada along with her band called Ironic Pitch. Helping Filipino kids through quality education is the role of the foundation. Many children in the Philippines who were born into poverty getting Education is their way out of poverty.

- The band first started just jamming together having fun. By word of mouth among friends decided to accept mostly by invitations from them to play at their friends parties.

- The band fundraising journey started when one of their friend was diagnosed with colon cancer. The band decided to do a fundraiser for their friend to go for a a dream trip. Unfortunately their friend died before they can raised the funds for his trip. That was something that started it off to help their friend and his family.
