More than 18,000 attendees from British Columbia and other cities in Canada are expected to grace the 2017 Philippine Day Festival Celebration at the City of North Vancouver’s landmark – The Waterfront Park on June 10-11, 2017.

More than 18,000 attendees from British Columbia and other cities in Canada are expected to grace the 2017 Philippine Day Festival Celebration at the City of North Vancouver’s landmark – The Waterfront Park on June 10-11, 2017.

The Metro Vancouver Philippine Arts and Cultural Exposition Society (MV-PACES) presents a two-day celebration to commemorate the 119th anniversary of the declaration of Philippine Independence as well as the 150th year of Canada’s confederation.

Members of the Filipino-Canadian Community of British Columbia are all excited for the largest celebration of its kind in the city, which will showcase Filipino traditional culture and the arts, cuisine, and family fellowship.

A week-long line-up of colorful, culturally educational and community-engaging events are prepared by the organizers. Booths will offer food, merchandise, professional services, leisure, fun for kids, raffle, promotions, and giveaways for the thousands of participants from the Lower Mainland, North Shore, Pemberton, Whistler, Washington, and neighboring cities.
