    Feb 16, 2017 (MANILA, Philippines) – Last October 15th, USA Cycling sanctioned Red Bull Last Stand, a fixed-gear criterium event held at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The event marked the federation’s first foray into fixed-gear road racing, which has gained attention globally in recent years.

    Prestigious interschool tourney inspires almost 20,000 athletes nationwide

    Cagayan De Oro, Philippines – The 2016 MILO Little Olympics recently concluded its last regional leg in Mindanao in Cagayan de Oro city, which officially marked the closing of its 29th season. Almost 20,000 student athletes from across the country took their shot in bringing home the coveted honors from their respective home courts in North and Central Luzon, NCR and South Luzon, Visayas and in Mindanao.

    TOKYO, 14th February, 2017 – Ajinomoto Co., Inc. (Ajinomoto Co.) today signed a Platinum Sponsorship agreement for the 29th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) and the 9th ASEAN Para Games (APG) to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in August and September 2017.

    The SEAG and APG are held every two years to help forge strong regional cooperation, understanding and unity within the Southeast Asian community. This 2017, these two largest sports events in the region will play host to more than 8,000 athletes and officials from 11 nations.

    Manila, Philippines, 22 October 2017 – Hard work and passion equipped the athletes during the 41stNational MILO Marathon Davao leg on Sunday, October 22. Richeel Languido and Judelyn Miranda emerged triumphant as they landed first place at the 21K half marathon. Almost 10,000 runners conquered the streets to race for the finish line. Training directors of the Philippine Olympic Committee, and celebrity training coaches Jim and Tony Saret led the pre-race warm up sessions for the elite athletes and category runners, respectively.

    First race of the season gathers around 12,000 pacesetters

    Urdaneta, Philippines, 16 July 2017 – In true festive fashion, the city of Urdaneta showed its overwhelming enthusiasm in the first race of the 41st National MILO Marathon. Around 12,000 runners hit the streets to race the finish line. Running veterans Julius Sermona and Christabel Martes took the spotlight and placed first in the 21K male and female categories, respectively. They each took home the top purse of P10,000 in cash and a trophy, and booked their slots to the National Finals in Cebu on December 3 to try and claim the MILO Marathon King and Queen titles.
