The Estavillo Cup FIDE rated Open tatluhan team tournament (2100 average rating) is slated on October 6 (Sunday) at the Robinsons Imus, Cavite.
“Each team composed of three players must only have an average rating of 2100,” said Philippine chess coach Ederwin Estavillo.It is a Six (6) or Seven(7) Rounds Swiss System with allotted time of 20 Minutes + 5 Seconds Delay Mode.
“At least 40 teams expected to join,” said Estavillo.
The team champion will earn P17,000 plus a trophy. The second placer will get P10,000 plus a trophy, third P6,000 and a trophy, fourth P3,000 and fifth P2,000.
Sixth to 8th placers will get P1,500 each.
“Teams expected to see action are coming from Batangas, Laguna, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Cavite," said Estavillo.
Early Registration fee is P 1,500 while On-site registration fee is P 1,800
