The Philippines’ youngest Woman Fide Master (WFM) 45th seed Antonella Berthe “Tonelle” Murillo Racasa suferred her second straight loses at the hands of fourth seed Woman Candidate Master (WCM) Alexandra Shvedova (elo 1932) of Russia in the eleventh and final round of the Under-12 Girls division of the World Cadet Chess Championships on Sunday at the Yujing Hotel in Weifang, Shandong, China.

In spite of the losses in the last two rounds, Racasa performed well above her FIDE rating of 1380, which placed her as the #45 seed among ninety players according to Robert Racasa, father/coach of Antonella Berthe.
