The country’s youngest Woman Fide Master (WFM) Antonella Berthe “Tonelle” Murillo Racasa will spearhead a strong cast clashing in the Caine Knight Tatlohan Chess Team Tournament 1950 limit rating on May 26 at the third floor Alphaland Southgate Mall, Near MRT Magallanes Station, Edsa, Makati City.

The 11 years old Racasa playing under the watchful eye of his father/coach Roberto Racasa, an International Memory Champion, will led the Boni Tower chess team backed up by Past President of Rotary Club of Pasig engineer Rogelio Lim. Apart from Racasa, the team was made up of Enrica Villa and April Joy Abundancia Ramos.

According to tournament organizer Genghis Katipunan Imperial, the one-day tournament is a seven round Swiss System format applying 20 minutes using match point system with 5 seconds delay per player to finish the game.

Secretary Jimson Linda said that the prizes at stake in the National Chess Federation of the Philippines sanctioned tournament is P20,000 plus trophy and medals for the team champion in the event backed up by Mr. Tito B. Coronacion of RRC Agriventures Corporation, Ms. Donna Cruz of Collantes Cruz, Mr. Reynaldo Punzalan of Same Backyard, Mr. Luis Angelo Buena and Mrs. Sierra of the USA.

The second to seventh placers are set to pocket their respective cash prizes worth P15,000, P10,000, P6,000, P4,000, P3,000 and P2,500, respectively.

Special prizes for the top team performer in the top 1920 and below, top College team, top High school team and top Lady team with P1,000 each while individual gold medal winner for board one, two and three will also likewise to receive P500 each.

A registration fee of P2,300 is set for early birds on or before May 20. On-site registration fee will increase by P200, and it will become P2,500 on May 26. Supervised by the Chess Arbiter Union of the Philippines led by Chief Arbiter national arbiter Alexander "Alex" Dinoy and assisted by national arbiters Alfredo Chay, Antonio "Jun" Cruz and Joel Tatad.
