MANILA---Filipina chess Woman Fide Master Antonella Berthe "Tonelle" Murillo Racasa (Elo 1342) bounced back from a fifth round setback by downing two time Olympian nemesis Monaco's Fiorina Berezovsky (1492) in 57 moves of a Sicilian Dragon variation in the World Cadets Chess Championships yesterday being held in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain.

The win enabled Racasa to raise her scores to three points in six outings and keep her hopes for the 10 finish in the Under 12 girls division.

Antonella thwarted all the attacks her opponent throws at her and systematically maneuvered her forces to generate counter-play and finally toppled her two time Olympian nemesis Fiorina Berezovsky of Monaco in 57 moves of a Sicilian Dragon variation.
