General Trias City---Colegio de San Francisco OIC (Officer In Charge) Mimie Alcantara on Tuesday greeted the Philippine athletes who showcased their talents and bagged medals.
Jeanelle Cabatian and Paolo Estavillo, both members of the Philippine Youth team from General Trias City who won 4 golds and 2 silver medals in Pattaya, Thailand recently.
"On behalf of Colegio de San Francisco Administrators, we would like to congratulate Paolo Estavillo and Jeanelle Cabatian for making it up to International Chess Competition. We are hoping that you will continue whatever you are doing. We are all proud of you. God bless." said Ms. Alcantara.
Paolo is a Grade 9 student under class adviser of Ms. Gerlyn Seno while Jeanelle is Grade 8 pupil under class adviser of Mr. Alex Dalo.
This is the first time that students and athletes from Colegio de San Francisco participate in International competition (abroad).
"Proud, happy kami kasi first time na y'ung mag-aaral namin dito (Colegio de San Francisco ) ay nagkaroon ng pagkakataon makapag compete sa abroad. Kasi hanggang STCAA (Southern Tagalog Calabarzon Athletic Association) lang ang pinakamalayong naabot ng mag aaral namin," said Mr. Dalo, who is also a athletics coach.
PH coach Ederwin Estavillo who is also the president of General Trias City, Cavite accompanied the two kids during the courtesy call on Tuesday.-Marlon Bernardino-
