GEROME GAMUAC continued his winning ways in the 7th annual J&P 10-Ball Cup Championships as he defeated Geona Kristine Gregorio, 7-3, at the Superbowl Makati Cinema Square in Makati City.

Gregorio is the finacee of International Billiards Champion and national team member Johann Chua.

In other matches, Miko Sison beat Christian Mabini, 7-3, Noel Fantilanan edged Cheward Bonode, 7-4, Noel Cruz trounced Nino Crisostomo, 7-3, Edwin Reyes toppled Arnold Vasquez, 7-6, Anthony Capco subdued Red Ronquillo, 7-5, and Nelson Salvanera crushed Jhonsel Sasil 7-5, in the event supervised by tournament director Allan Soliman that has a total prize fund of P100,000 with P40,000 plus elegant trophy going to the champion.

"Another succesful year for J&P 10 BALL CUP on it's 7th strong year with a total of 161 amateur pool players participated with breakdown of players on the four ( 4 ) division/category level. (Class O, 42), (Class A, 33), (Class B, 50) and Class C, 36)." said DMC Entertainment and Production management boss Jesse Gonzales Cambosa Sr., who put up in this annual 10-ball tournament together with long-time billiards patron sportsman/businessman Aristeo “Putch” Puyat, backed up by MAPPA (Makati Pool Players Association) and Puyat Sports which attracted 161 pool players.

Defending champion engineer Vergel Recaido, president of the Copper Electronics Expertise, Inc., earlier beat Momer Meteoro, 7-4, and Elman “Aris” Sacayanan, 7-2, to advance in the next round of this double elimination, winner's break format.-
