WOMAN International Master Cristine Rose Mariano-Wågman is set to compete in the Festival Juan Martinez Sola 2018 Liga International Chess Championships, an Invitational, Round-Robin event which begins on November 1 to 5, 2018 in Almeria, Spain.

Mariano-Wågman, who holds the record being the youngest-ever National Champion at the age of 14, will be pitted against WFM Liudmila Kolotilina (2226) of Spain, WIM Aleksandra Lach (2205) of Poland, WIM Manuela Mader (2200) of Spain, WFM Ana Redondo Benavente (2055) of Spain, WFM Beatriz Garcia Porlan (2076) of Spain, Rebeca Jimenez Fernandez (1917) of Spain, Zofia Frej (1964) of Poland and WFM Mireya Represa Perez (2151) of Spain.

Mariano-Wågman who is also the youngest ever National Master at the age of 14 after winning the National Championships.
