THE 2nd Dr. Marlonsky Youth Chess Cup Tournament fires off October 7, 2018 at the Dr.
Marlonsky Chess Center, Catalya Compound, Prk 5A, in front of Orchard Lane Homes (about minute walk from Buda National Highway); Km 20, Bgy. Los Amigos, Tugbok

District in Davao City with cash prizes going out to the winners.
The one-day event is open to all players ages 19 years old and below with the champion getting P3,000, the second placer bagging P2,000 and the third placer will pocket P1,000.

Cash prizes of P300 will also be awarded to the fourth to eight finishers. There will be special awards with the best players for the category winners for the top female, top Under 14 and top under 8.

Tournament registration fee is P200.

Backed up by Mindanao Chessmastes and Knights of the Square Table, the two division youth chess tournament (19 years old and below, 11 years old and below) is open to all players ages 19 years old and below with a time control format of 15 minutes plus three seconds increment in the National Chess Federation of the Philippines sanctioned tournament and supervised by NA Cecilio "Ely"Acas, FNA Joseph "Jojo" Palermo and NA Alfred Moulic.
