THE first ever Margie C. Narcilla FIDE Rated Standard Round Robin Chess Championships will be staged on August 20-22, 2018 at the Jardin Del Roca, Bayabas in Toril, Davao City.

Organizer and Chief Arbiter FNA Margie C. Narcilla said the Standard Time control format with FIDE Laws of Chess governing will dangle a whopping P5,000 to the champion.

The second placer will go home with P3,000 while the third placer will get P2,000 and P1,500 for the foruth placer.

P1,000 each for the 5th to 6th placer and the rest of the Top 10 will receive P500 each.

Registration fee is set at P500 and free lunch to all Participants.

Among the invited players are Ferdinand Leysa (2065) Atty. Jose Dionisio Guevarra Jr. (1907), Irish Yngayo (1748), Florence Faith Guevarra (1720), Baltazar Rafales Sr. (1362), Alfred Moulic, Cecilio "Ely" Acas, Michael Elloso, Knarf Lawrence Bastilaong and Kurt John Placencia.

Tournament Director is National Arbiter Cecilio "Ely" A. Acas while Deputy Chief Arbiter is Fide National Arbiter Joseph Gener "Jojo" I. Palero assisted by Fide National Arbiter Alexander E. Clavite.
