Papangunahan nina 13-time Philippine Open Champion Grandmaster Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr. and reigning Philippine Open Champion Grandmaster Darwin Laylo, (2022) Auckland, New Zealand Asian Senior 65yrs old over category champion International Master Jose Efren Bagamasbad at 8-time Illinois, USA chess champion International Master Angelo Young ang kampanya sa  Open division.
Kabilang naman sa mga bagitang manlalaro na magsisilbing tinik ay sina International Master Jan Emmanuel Garcia, International Master Rolando Nolte, International Master Ronald Bancod, FIDE Master David Elorta, FIDE Master Christopher Castellano, 1996 Philippine Junior champion National Master Robert Suelo Jr., at National Master Romeo Alcodia.
Ang mga uprising non-master ay sina CM Jerry Areque, CM Genghis Imperial, NT/NA Glenn Hullana Garcia, Eduardo Campos Jr., Noel Jay Estacio, Richard Manzano at Atty. Rodolfo Enrique "Rudy" Rivera.
May total fund prize 105,000Php ang paglalabanan sa 7-round Swiss system competition one day event na suportado ng generous Balinas family kaalisabay ng pagdiriwang ng birthday celebration ng the late father GM Rosendo Balinas Jr. – Mr.Rosendo Balinas Sr. at GM Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr.
Tatangap ang magkakampeon ng 20,000Php, habang ang second hanggang fifth ay nakalaan ang tig 10,000Php, 7,000Php, 5,000Php at 3,000Php ayon sa pagkakasunod. May mapapanalunan din sa 6th hanggang 20th placers na tig 1,000Php maging ang Lucky 100 spot na 1,000Php. Maiuuwi naman ni Top PECA Executive winner ang 5,000Php.
