daughter of organizing Bayanihan Chess Club president Arena Grandmaster Almario Marlon Bernardino Jr.
Thirteen-time Philippine Open champion Grandmaster Rogelio “Joey” Antonio Jr., Grandmaster Darwin Laylo, Grandmaster Roland Salvador head the list of participants that includes Woman International Master Kylene Joy Mordido, Fide Master Roel Abelgas, National Master Gerry Cabellon and National Master Elwin Retanal, among others.
“In behalf of the Zamboanga Sultans, we will support the Baby Dos chess challenge online tournament,” said Canadian Chess Master Zulfikar Sali, Team Owner of Zamboanga Sultans, who hails from Zamboanga City, working as a nurse in Canada.
