South Africa’s WBO World champion Zolani Tete (28-3, 21 KOs) is facing the WBC Diamond and WBA World champion, American-Philippine Nonito Donaire (39-5, 25 KOs), in the 118lb WBSS semi-final on April 27 at the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA, USA.

“Preparations have been excellent for the fight,” said Tete before sending praise to legendary trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., the father, and former trainer, of undefeated five-division champ Floyd Mayweather Jr.

“THE FILIPINO FLASH” DONAIRE JR. SAID HE IS CONFIDENT TO SCORE A KNOCKOUT VICTORY AGAINST WORLD BOXING ORGANIZATION (WBO) BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION ZOLANI TETE ON APRIL 27 AT THE CAJUNDOME IN LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA.
The 36-year-old Donaire (39-5 record with 25 knockouts) from Talibon, Bohol declared that he has already fine tuned his strength and speed for his World Boxing Super Series unification fight against Tete.

“I’m pretty close to 100 percent. I’m peaking right now. I’m very confident,” said Donaire, who is now under the tutelage of 78-year-old trainer Kenny Adams in Las Vegas, Nevada.
