Dereck Chisora made Dillian Whye an absurd offer of 5 million for a fight on December 22. The two heavyweights are trying to negotiate a rematch for Sky Box Office PPV. Whyte (24-1, 17 KOs) beat Chisora by a 12 round split decision close to two years ago in December 2016.
It’s unknown if the 34-year-old Chisora has the £5m to give Whyte. Chisora wants to send Whyte into retirement. It would be a tough pill for Whyte to swallow if he loses the December 22 fight to Chisora because he’ll miss out on a rematch with Anthony Joshua on April 13.

“I’m A-side. You get 25 percent,” Whyte said to Chisora on IFL TV. “Make sure it don’t bounce though. Okay, business done. He said he’s going to write me a check for 5 million. I don’t want to hear anything less than five million.”
This is a real risky fight for Whye, but not for Chisora. Whyte has the Joshua fight that he could lose out on if he gets beaten by Chisora. This is as good as it gets Chisora. He has to beat Whyte for him to be considered for a fight against Joshua.
“This is the heavyweight fight we want to see in December,” Hearn said to IFL TV.
Chisora might need to knock Whyte out for him to beat him. Chisora was robbed by the judges in his previous fight with Whyte in 2016 in the eyes of a lot of people. Whyte is one of Matchroom’s most valuable heavyweights. It’s going to be difficult for Chisora to get a decision win over him unless he does something spectacular. Knocking out Whyte would be the best way to go for Chisora. Joseph Parker had Whyte in trouble in the 12th round of their recent fight last July.
