Floyd Mayweather Jr. beats Conor McGregor in round 10 Via Technical Knockout. Mayweather to take his record to 50-0.He passes Rocky Marciano for most wins without a loss/draw in boxing history. Mayweather backed McGregor onto the ropes with a series of rights and lefts. McGregor’s face was completely bloodied. He was about to fall through the ropes, and the referee stepped in to stop the fight with 1:55 remaining in the round.

Mayweather the face of boxing for more than a decade, punctuated a stellar yet controversial career with a technical knockout over U.F.C. champ and first-time boxer Conor McGregor on Saturday night.

 “I gave the fans what they wanted to see,” Mayweather said after the fight. “I told them that I owed them for the Pacquiao fight. I must come straight ahead and give them a show.”

Mayweather is expected to make millions more than McGregor. The Los Angeles Times notes: "Terms of this deal have not been revealed, but it's certain that Mayweather will earn the lion's share of the purse and pay-per-view money after raking in more than $200 million for the record-selling Pacquiao bout alone."

Mayweather could bring home around $300 million, closer to what he made for his fight in 2015 against former seven-division champion Manny Pacquiao.

The 40-year-old has the leverage. He is a five-division world champion with a record of 50 wins and zero losses. He's coming out of retirement for the fight.
