TOLEDO, Ohio (July 2, 2023) — Toledo's favorite son is coming home. Heavyweight sensation Jared "The Real Big Baby" Anderson (14-0, 14 KOs) looks to keep his knockout streak alive in the 10-round main event against former world champion "Prince" Charles Martin (29-3-1, 26 KOs) TONIGHT at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.
In the 10-round heavyweight co-feature, Montreal-based wrecking ball Arslanbek Makhmudov (16-0, 15 KOs) faces fellow unbeaten KO artist Raphael Akpejiori (15-0, 14 KOs).
And, in a six-round lightweight special feature that will air just before the main event, 19-year-old southpaw Abdullah Mason (8-0, 7 KOs) steps up in a six-rounder versus Alex de Oliveira (20-4, 14 KOs).
Anderson-Martin, Makhmudov-Akpejiori and Mason-de Oliveira will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
The ESPN+-streamed undercard (6:15 p.m. ET/3:15 p.m. PT) includes junior welterweight standout Tiger Johnson (8-0, 5 KOs) against New Orleans native Jonathan Montrel (15-1, 10 KOs) in an eight-rounder and an eight-round clash between rising junior middleweight Jahi Tucker (10-0, 5 KOs) and Puerto Rico's Nicklaus Flaz (10-2, 7 KOs).
