Gwapo Omega Gym stars Carlo Bacaro (L) and Tomjune Mangubat can't wait to climb the ring for their respective action fights this coming Saturday, March 12, at the Elorde Sports Complex in Parañaque, Metro Manila, two hot rumbles that might become turning points in their rising boxing careers.

Unbeaten, laser-focused super lightweight slugger Carlo Bacaro (8-0, 6 KO's), of Cordova, Cebu, trades flying fists against the more-experienced Jimmy Borbon of the Dakbanwa sang Roxas, Capiz Province, in a thrilling war likely to end by way of knock out, but who will stop who, and how?
Will the younger Carlo Bacaro, 22, born in beautiful Guihulngan, Negros Oriental, score his 7th knockout win as he aims to becoming the best 140-pounder in the country?
Or will the battle-tested Jimmy Borbon have too much ring-savvy and slick moves to dominate the fast 'n furious attacks of the young Omega fighter, neutralizing him, out-boxing him?
Fans will have eyes on on the exciting Bacaro vs Borbon, a battle of will and skills that can't be missed.
TOMJUNE MANGUBAT TAKES ON CHARLY SUAREZ FOR VACANT WBC ASIA 130 LBS STRAP
In the show's main event, Bacaro's sparring partner, stablemate and good friend Tomjune Mangubat (15-2-1, 12 KO's) fights Charly Suarez (9-0, 6 KO's) from Sawata, Davao del Norte, for the vacant WBA Asia Super Featherweight Belt, a make-or-break 12-rounder clash set to test the strength, heart and courage of the two combatants.
Nine years younger, Tomjune might arguably be the fresher warrior, the one with the treasure of youth on his side.
Meanwhile, Charly Suarez, soon to be 34-year-old, might be in a race against time to achieve something in pro boxing.
That is probably why Charly is seeing action so often, climbing the ring 5 times last year; however, in none of the fighters Charly Suarez faced last year has the quality of Tomjune, a.k.a. "The Wardog," a young warrior with determination, speed and damaging power.
Will Charly Suarez out-box Tomjune the same way he did to journeymen Eduardo Mancito and Jon Jon Estrada last year?
Or will the debilitating, suffocating pressure exerted by "The Wardog" be strong enough to see Tomjune victorious once again?
Trained by Cebu's Omega Gym head coach "Doc J" Julius Erving Junco and assisted by Omega exec Jerome Calatrava, young fighters Carlo Bacaro and Tomjune Magunbat feel strong and confident for exciting wins. May the best men win! (Fightnews Asia)
