The two fighters comfortably made weight for their welterweight (147 pounds) main event Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Fighting senator Manny Pacquiao's storied career. Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KO)weighed in at 146, with Broner (33-3-1, 24 KO) a pound heavier at 146½.

The 40-year-old Pacquiao, (60-7-2, 39 KOs), claims he’s keenly aware of Broner's strategy, coming off July's title-winning, seventh-round TKO of Lucas Matthysse.

Pacquiao looked good as always. If Pacquiao brings the kind of punching power and intensity that he did in his last fight against Lucas Matthysse last summer, it could be a long night for Broner.

Dillian Whyte says former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will be making a comeback to boxing, and that he lied recently when he denied that he’s planing on returning to the sport. Whyte (25-1, 18 KOs) says the 42-year-old former IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO champion Klitschko (64-5, 53 KOs) was offered a fight against him, but he didn’t want to take it right away because he wanted to have two warm-up fights before he did return to the ring.
