New Seven-Year Deal Runs Through 2025

Includes 54 Exclusive Live Top Rank on ESPN Events Per Year

(Aug. 2, 2018)  - ESPN and Top Rank, the world’s premier boxing promotional company, today announced the most comprehensive, exclusive rights agreement in the history of boxing. This new seven-year deal runs from 2018 to 2025 and includes 54 events per year, as well as a full offering of exclusive shoulder programming, classic fights and studio content.

Former WBA middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs (34-2, 29 KOs) and Sergiy Derevyanchenko (12-0, 10 KOs) are heading for November 10 for their clash for the vacant International Boxing Federation 160-pound title on HBO at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

The November 10 date still isn’t official as of yet, but that’s the date Jacobs’ and Derevyanchenko’s management are working on, according to Dan Rafael.

Interim WBC light welterweight champion Regis Prograis (22-0, 19 KOs) and the recently beaten former WBO 135-pound champion Terry Flanagan (33-1, 13 KOs) are heading towards their quarterfinals date of October 27 in the World Boxing Super Series tournament at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prograis vs. Flanagan will be streamed on DAZN in the U.S.

WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia (39-0, 30 KOs) had a much harder time than expected in defeating previously unbeaten IBF lightweight belt holder Robert Easter Jr. (21-1, 14 KOs) by a 12 round unanimous decision on Saturday night in their unification fight on Showtime Boxing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
